Women in Manufacturing Skilled Trades Symposium – February 23, 2024

The Association of Manufacturers Bay Area (AMBayArea) is hosting an Women in Manufacturing Skilled Trades Symposium on Friday, February 23 from 9 AM – 3:30 PM PDT. This meeting of manufacturers and educators will discuss the participation of women in manufacturing skilled trades, with speakers and panelists to discuss best practices. This event is targeted to Bay Area manufacturers, educators in the community colleges and K-12 school, and workforce development professionals working to help individuals pursue new career opportunities. Bay Area Manufacturing Company Awards – Nominations
The Association of Manufacturers Bay Area (AMBayArea) will present their inaugural MFG Awards at the AMBayArea Summit 2024 on Tuesday, April 23 at Chabot Space & Science Center.  

Nominate your company or a fellow manufacturer that believe should be considered for MFR of the Year (awards will be given to a small, medium, and large manufacturer, as well as an award for AMBayArea Member of the Year). If you have any questions, please reach out to Shannon Banta or Mark Martin.

2024 Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) Connect Summit | DOE, DOC, & PACE
This event connects minority business enterprises (MBEs) with incredible opportunities at Department of Energy (DOE) Program Offices and National Labs and other federal agencies, financial institutions, and nonprofit organizations working to realize an equitable clean energy future and build lasting, productive relationships. 2024 Alameda County Job Fair – April 25, 2024

The Alameda County Social Services Agency (SSA) is proud to present our Annual Fair Chance Job and Resource Fair on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the RingCentral Coliseum, 7000 Coliseum Way, Oakland, CA 94621. In partnership with Alameda County Probation, Alameda County Workforce Development Board, Insight Global, Ring Central, KMEL, Lao Family, West Oakland Job & Resource Center, East Bay Economic Development Alliance, and the Oakland Private Industry Council, and others. This exclusive, invitation-only event featured a tour of Penumbra’s campus and manufacturing line.
