Keynote & Panelists Announced for the East Bay Manufacturing Summit – In celebration of October’s Manufacturing Month, please join East Bay EDA for the East Bay Manufacturing Summit on Tuesday, October 29 (9 AM-2 PM) at the Fremont Downtown Event Center. The summit will bring together East Bay manufacturers, civic leaders, education, and industry partners to foster connections in supporting a more dynamic, resilient, and inclusive manufacturing ecosystem and regional economy. The event will feature panel discussions highlighting microclimates of innovation, cutting-edge workforce models, and international trade opportunities. Touring Torani’s Flavor Factory – East Bay EDA members and partners were fortunate to be offered an exclusive tour of Torani’s new state-of-the-art “flavor factory” in San Leandro, led by their CEO Melanie Dulbecco. National Manufacturing Day is Friday, October 4, 2024! Celebrated annually on the first Friday in October, with events continuing throughout the month and beyond, MFG Day – Manufacturing Day – is a national grassroots movement that demonstrates the reality and future of modern manufacturing careers. Thousands of companies and educational institutions nationwide are invited to open their doors to students, parents, educators and community leaders.
