East Bay EDA Port of Richmond Tour

Join East Bay EDA and the City of Richmond on Friday, May 17th (1-3 PM) for a bus tour of the Port of Richmond, one of the Bay Area’s international economic hubs, and learn about the Port’s history, operations, public-private partnerships, and future plans. Meet Port Director Charles Gerard, who joined the City of Richmond in 2023 with 35 years of maritime industry experience supervising marine terminal operating systems for more than 400 terminals worldwide. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to gain insight into the Port of Richmond’s role in the region’s economy as well as network with industry and community leaders.

1:15 PM – Port of Richmond Presentation and Q&A

1:45 PM – Bus Tour

2:45 PM – Return to Port of Richmond Administration Building

This opportunity is focused on providing a curated experience for members and partners of East Bay EDA’s Land Use & Infrastructure Committee and Resilient East Bay, East Bay EDA’s regional initiative supporting the East Bay’s manufacturing & goods movement industries.
