DESCRIPTION:Save the date to join East Bay EDA on Friday\, November 6 for a tour of Martinez Refining Company (MRC) in Contra Costa County. MRC produces some of the cleanest motor fuels in the world\, supplying the Bay Area with affordable and reliable gasoline\, diesel\, and jet fuel. The refinery spans 860 acres\, includes 35 process units\, and employs 585 full-time staff and 300 embedded contractors. During major maintenance periods\, more than 1\,000 Building Trades craftworkers are also added to the workforce. Check back soon for registration details.
